WTF?! A Michigan teenager has been fined $200 for swearing near a playground.
Last month, Colin Andersen, 19, was hanging out with his friends in a car park near a playground in Brighton, Michigan, when a police officer ticketed a friend for skateboarding.
The officer also told Andersen and his friends they had to go somewhere else. Andersen says when he heard that, he muttered "f--king bulls--t."
After Andersen dropped the F bomb, the officer gave him a ticket for disorderly conduct, a charge he thinks is unfair.
“I don’t think I deserve this ticket,” he told a Livingston County Judge. “I don’t think I did anything wrong.”
Andersen told the judge that children were not close by when he cursed and he did it under his breath.
Fortunately for him, Anderson managed not to curse when he was handed the hefty fine by the judge.
